it looks like most are recommending the 1350 on the Gladiator. I read somewhere that stock is bigger than a 1310.

If I need to replace my driveshaft, Iā€™d go Adamā€™s. I ran a 1310 on my JKUR, it was flawless! When they say fast turnaround, they mean it! My JK started slinging grease at the t-case. The bearings in the joint were toast!

I needed a driveshaft ASAP, and they were faster than ASAP!

For the JTRD, Iā€™d probably go 1350. With larger tires, 4:1, torque of the diesel.
For the 3.6, not sure what Iā€™d do.

itā€™s about a $130 difference.
Both 1310 and 1350 have lifetime warranty in breakage due to torque.
So is the $$ difference worth it?
Is breaking down on the trail worth it then for the stronger shaft?

Read Adamā€™s site. They recommend 1350.
The 1310 is good for up to 35ā€ tires.
Even though Iā€™m on 35s, Iā€™d rather have more margin.
Iā€™d imagine the vehicles weight factors. We are loading these things up pretty heavy.

Its not the tires its the axles. 1310 keeps the axle in one piece. Break the u joint not the axle shaft. 1350 might make your axle the weak link. Its not that one is wrong and one is right. It depends on the setup. Also may not make sense to upgrade front if not upgrading the back at same time. Depends on application.

I totally agree.

did some digging and oem is a 1350 ujoint for the JT.

Just got an Adams 1310 front driveshaft installed to correct driveline angles at the transfer case.

First impression is that fit and finish are top notch. The CV style joint at the transfer case was changed to a traditional u-joint yoke, adding length and reducing angle. The unit is greasable in all the spots youā€™d expect. I havent been off road yet but did do a 4 high road test to 50 mph and no vibes.

here are some pics, hard to do it justice on a rainy day. Its a solid piece, probably been discussed on here a hundred times but add SilverTruck as another happy customer

Heard of some guys running the 1350 and got vibrations. they took it off and went back to stock and its gone. Perhaps the exact measurements were off?

I have the Clayton 3.5 Overland Plus with Nitto Ridge Grappler's in 37". What was your measurements for the driveshafts (front & rear)..

Thank you!

That one zerk should be it. The u-joints should be sealed/non-serviceable.

as for grease, same stuff you use in ball joints or any other zerk under a vehicle
Both Adams and JE Reel use greasable u-joints at the axle, so there is a zerk on each of them, ask me how I know this...

Wish i knew the measurements but my shop handled it and ordered direct. No vibes with 1310. Results may vary.

I would like to order the driveshaft before Clayton ships the lift.
Thanks!

My shop ordered it after the lift was on and i dont have the measurements. Results may vary so might recommend you have it measured after lift too.

I also bought the same front Adam's drive shaft with the Clayton 3.5" Overland Plus kit. I have been 4wheeling with it about 10 times or so. I works great, no vibrations. Note: my front diff is set at 89 degrees.

How is the return to center/caster at that angle? About to install my 1350 and I have the 3.5 Overland kit.

How are guys getting vibrations from the front drive shaft. I thought it disconnects while driving in 2wd and does not spin? I am about to order the 1350 as well.
