Is your setup over your GVWR?

BTW, this camper is exactly what I’m after…I’m too old to be scaling up and down an RTT ladder at night to pee. Plus l’m in Jelly Stone park a couple times a year, and the turds won’t let soft side anything in the park…bears issues.
Yes my setup is over GVWR, yes we bought the hard sided Scout for National Parks as well :)

Looking at the scout website the pop up version looks like a great idea much lower…But… the weight is more way over 900pounds, compared to yours at 619 pounds. I assume the roof top pop section would also be a no go at the parks you frequent. I do know the others are loaded and have options on them that Darkhorse13 did not come with but perhaps the lightweight hardskin and aluminum frame is actually lighter then the pop up section with struts, top and bottom frame work and the tent material.
Looks very well made, thanks for posting!….Jack

I posted some pics from FB. It looks pretty darn awesome. But is it really 900 pounds???

The pop-up that they are currently offering though is the Yoho edition. They will be making smaller pop-up versions in the future but that's why it's estimated at 946 lb. The fully hard-sided Yoho starts at 991 lb. The pop-up is still slightly lighter. I'm sure the Tuktut version of the pop-up might even be sub 600 lb.

Just posting up some recent camping pics. Didn't have any issues with some tighter tree-line trails in CO but it's an adjustment having to think about it :)

Happy New Years everyone! Just some fun pics from the first weekend in 2025. Really enjoying the diesel heater in the 20F degree nights.

Not yet. I'm probably a year out. I'd like to have the choice of a pop top.

I saw it parked on the street when I drove through Moab on Monday. You would have to drag my Alu-Cab Canopy Camper out of my cold, dead hands, but I’ve got to admit it’s a nice looking package and I am a little jealous of the interior comfort. Very nice!
