Right on, here is my original "Gladiator" thought it was technically a J-2000 pickup this model year with an earlier grille

AMC bought Jeep in 1971, and dropped the Gladiator designation in favor of J-Series truck beginning in 1972.

This is an aftermarket accessories show for consumers and the bigger the build the more eyes on it. I feel like all of these builds are way over the top and tacky. almost to the point of thinking "what does this company do?". the jeep platform is and always has been a utilitarian platform. I feel like I cant even see the potential in my own rig looking at these over the top monstrosities.

I don't know I guess I cannot see the forest thru all the trees.

Same here. I'd like to find that one. I think this is the JT that Northridge 4x4 gave away a while back. I can't find that bar on their site, or anywhere else for that matter.

So I have been procrastinating on work all morning and checking out Sema sneak peaks. Figured I would start a thread for all the crazy gladiator builds there. I'm just going to post this one. Figured others could share ones they liked.

I wanted to hate it, but I don't. I do hate the Grumpy bumper. To keep with the old school look, I think a chrome grill would have looked awesome.

This is actually a buddy of mines builds, and I’ve personally seen the Jeep in person during the build and I’m telling you the attention to detail and craftsmanship is second to none. This started off as a Sport S. It’s supercharged, dually axles , lays frame, it has a modified Skytop from a Wrangler, Mojave hood swap, export mirrors, full LED light swap, added blindspot monitoring, everything is colour matched, rear flare is actually all steel and one off built, rear bumper is a Ram rear bumper blended to a stock bumper, full show finished rear suspension with a false floor that shows it off.
He owns a big Bodyshop here and his Truck is to show off the skills he has.
Also has a bagged JKU with a 392/6speed swap, and a crazy amount of custom work.
It’s one of those Jeeps that you really need to see it to truly appreciate all the work that went into it.
