Are you still experiencing this, Markpod7? If so, we will be happy to dig in further with you. Send our team a private message with more details to get started!Have a manual sport just rolled over 16k miles and service 4wd light came on?! Never even had to use 4wd yet any ideas?
Some dealerships want nothing to do with warranty work. They don't get to charge their per hour rate and are stuck with a fixed amount from the manufacturer no matter how long it takes to fix.My service 4wd light keeps coming on intermittently. My dealership is awful and won’t try to fix it because there isn’t a code and they don’t try to diagnose or fix anything unless their scan tool tells them what to do. I’ve brought it in for this and the awful noises coming from my rear end three times now and they keep giving me the “could not duplicate”. I just opened a case with Jeep. I hope they help. I’m beyond frustrated. The rear end noises are painfully obvious if you just drive it across the parking lot and I even gave them videos and they don’t care.
I kept bringing it where I bought it because they were cool and always had a loaner vehicle for me. There is a closer dealer, but they pissed me off by lying to me and saying that Jeep Wave doesn’t give me a loaner vehicle so I’ve never given them a chance. Some dealerships want nothing to do with warranty work. Shop for a new dealership for your warranty work.
Have them check the 2WD/4WD switch on top of the transfer case.I've had this issue from the beginning with my 2020 JTR. Been to the dealership 3 times. Last time I took it in with the error lite on so they could scan it. They replaced the front end disconnect cable but the light still comes on. Doesn't matter what condition triggers it. you could be driving in a straight line and it comes on.
Going back for the 4th time this next week. Any ideas on what would trigger this would be helpful.
