Congrats! Never seen that one before. Very well set up. What suspension is under it and what does it weigh?
Edit: Found it online.
Timbren 3500. ????
Dry weight 2300 lbs
Gross 3500 lbs
Price $37,500 ?
Where’s the Gladiator?
Ha, Wrangler for me - it just happened that way :) I have no ambition to start all over on a new ride, however I surely like the Gladiators !! I can say that the Wrangler tows it nicely though, especially with the 4.88 gears.
As shipped weight came in at just over 2,800 lbs
Price -- base price above, there are a lot of upgrades on this build + shipping from Vegas to NC that bumps that up

Thanks for sharing. I just ordered a 2022 JLU Rubicon and am very interested in this trailer, however was concerned about the weight. Sounds like your wrangler tows it just fine though? Have you had a chance to get it out on any trails?

The Jeep gets it done, however it's obviously not the best choice when it comes to towing. With big tires and lift you'll likely need to re-gear to tow more effectively. I've only had it on the hwy to break in the re-gear first few tow sessions - also may be selling it to take an opportunity that came up so no plans to take it out atm.

Really nice T.T. a little too rich for me though, but I've got my Scamp 16 ft Deluxe. Go figure I head out with just Jeep and tent cot or hammock to get away. ? I got the Scamp due to it falling within my LJ towing limit within reason.

Got the Voyager out for a quick 2 day 1 night trip. Some of lessons learned....

- Repurposed the included pull out drawer wooden cutting board as an upper shelf (cut to fit)
- The Jeep tows the fully loaded (including water) Voyager pretty well - but if you want any resemblance of fuel mileage, keep it under 65
- RTTs and wind are challenging (20+ mph wind when we broke down camp)
- Need to find a better way to secure the annex room floor, currently I only see a stake point at each corner, and not much else.
- You use stored power faster than you think
- RTTs are freaking comfortable, and this Walkabout 62 model is very roomy, well ventilated and looks great too
- I don't care for the spring rods that need to be inserted for the RTT window awnings - tight fit in awkward locations
- Voyager kitchen lay out is amazing - there's an abundance of room to do everything
- Voyager trailer storage is HUGE - I thought we had a lot of stuff - it disappeared into the Voyager cabinets
- Need a better solution for the 270 awning pole that interferes with the fridge drop down shelf
- Consider opening the 270 awning no further than the trailer right rear corner which will un-shade the roof top solar panel (may work, may not)
- Dogs like cots - we add a included wool topper to the cot we bought - the dog slept in the annex on the new cot for the first time without a single issue.
- bathroom breaks at night, in the cold, from the RTT aren't fun.

Man, that setup is what my overlanding dreams are made of. I have an off-road teardrop but it's older and I've been debating on something like this. P.S. Boxers are the best dogs.

So we ordered this back in May or June 2021 and recently took delivery - slowly working through getting it set up!

Cheers,
Dan (NC)

Great post! I will pick up my new Xpedition Voyager this Friday. I will also be towing with a new Wrangler Rubicon 4Xe and am wondering about tow capacity. Have you driven much with yours yet? Interested in towing/handling report?
