Short USB-C cable that fits through the slots in a Rubigrid?

Goal is to mount a GoPro Hero 2024 on the Rubigrid, install small panel mount USB charger in a hole drilled in the dash tray below the Rubigrid, and then have a short USB-C cable connecting the two.

For the first couple of cables I ordered, the ends of the cables are too fat to fit through the slots. I'd prefer not to cut out a piece of the top of the Rubigrid, or try to grind / sand down the end of a cable.

If you have done something similar and have a USB-C cable that you know will work, please post a link to the cable that you used.

I ordered a set of the black cables. Should arrive tomorrow. Only intend to power the gopro and an ipad mini from up in the dash. They only need 10W and 20W respectively, so went with this for the charger:

It is shorter in height and only needs a 7/8" hole. Plan to power it with the passenger foot well Aux package ignition wire.

Already have the Quadratec version of the 12V power port tap. Want to use that to power a Midland MXT275 that I bought but haven't gotten around to installing.
