So I grew up in the 80s and lusted over 80s Jeeps and am super drawn to the decals of the era. Has anyone decaled their Gladiator up to look like an old YJ or retro renegade branding?

Since this isn't your ride/work and it's from Jeep I don't mind saying this is awesome but the lines need to be 80% of their size right now so they don't reach the fender vents and they also shouldn't be right up against the wheel well, but have equal clearance as they do from the bottom.

I was so damn close to white steelies, white letter tires, chrome bar in the bed and KC Daylights.
It's a great look.

Just ended up in a different direction with mine. Pleased with the outcome, but yeah...the throw backs are great!

No throwback here but as I have said a couple of times before on this forum - when I was a kid cool jeeps had shiny wheels and bumpers. I now realize that "shiny" back them usually meant chrome but really cool jeeps had polished aluminum. When I was looking at wheels I just couldn't bring myself to get black wheels so I decided to go with polished aluminum as a nod to my childhood dreams. I'm not doing anything else shiny tho... everything else is going to be bedlined or powerder coated flat black. My RockHard 4x4 sliders arrived yesterday and I will paint the undersides and the tubes with POR-15 bedliner before installing and my Ace Upper Decker came bedlined already (thank you @Pat2Alaska- very smart man in my opinion!). I won't bedline my ARB bondi deluxe when it arrives (on order since fricken' February) but after a couple of years when it needs touching up I will bedline the visible surfaces.

I had a blue '91 YJ Islander like the top photo. Loved that Jeep.

Oh hells yes to 2 (or 4) legged family overlanding. Yours look much happier about it though! (well, the dog is definitely happy)

Great color combination with the black! I'm on the fence about putting my Jeep emblems back overtop of the vinyl stripes. Yours looks factory, so really makes me want to do it. What adhesive did you use and any issues?
