Propkillr that is a nice find! Official word from the LA Auto Show press release outlines the Jeep truck being revealed. Link to the article and the auto show placeholder below. Excited!

That is awesome news. A month away! This link from the the Auto show itself is the best source yet, by far. @JAY we know you are have a great time a SEMA, since the reveal is now published on the L.A. Autoshow's news site can you confirm this?

Wow Im shocked. After Mopar not showing any JT parts at SEMA and not sticker mules running around Im honestly shocked that it will be shown at LA.
You and me both. My buddy and I were discussing this exact thing last night with the complete lack of swirl camo JT's rolling around and speculating when we would start seeing those. I guess we won't be?

Maybe after LA? Or they will just show the final product and then do whatever testing they normally due without the trash bags fully revealed between LA and April since we know production wont start till then.

That is probably my guess as well. Once it's revealed they can continue testing and fine tuning out in the open. One last link to share.

YES! With a 3rd quarter FCA earnings statement, the L.A. Auto Show press release, Motor Trend, and now Car and Driver ALL stating that a "Jeep Pickup" unveiling will occur late in November at the L.A. Auto Show we can confirm the JT is FINALLY happening!!!

Hopefully some of the prior comments we've posted here motivated them to launch exactly 12 months post JL launch. But I'd also be willing to bet that we may in large part be to blame for the lack of recent commentary and tight-lips as of late...

...and agree with others posting above that now Jeep can just forego the JT under-cover testing and instead conclude any testing in the open having "unveiled" the vehicle in L.A. Just know that we may see some things that don't make the final production cut (i.e., JL half doors with see thru windows).

Rest my case…all of them! :)

Aug. 20, 2018:
Why would they not have a final pre-production JT at L.A. in December if they are going into production the next month???

Sept. 15, 2018:
They've had over a decade to engineer and launch the Gladiator. Heck, AEV did it to a TJ and a JK during that same timeframe. And as far back as 2015, they officially announced it as a 2017 model.

So, no. FCA doesn't get a pass. It only serves to question the mediocrity of the product, the capability of the team assigned to it, or the lack of focus and backing of FCA leadership with this many delays.

It should be revealed at L.A. Auto Show. End of story.
Sept. 18, 2018:
I'm just speculating...

Seemed like this time of year when JL announced at L.A.

If it is L.A., we should get a big JT forum group together to descend on the Jeep booth at opening...

My brother and I, both potential JT buyers, are thinking about going to the LA Auto Show on 12/8.

What are the chances that Jeep will allow us to sit in and touch the JT? I don’t want to go if it’ll be roped off from the public. What did they do last year for the JL? I don’t remember

At the L.A. Auto Show full access to the JT is likely if like the JL last year. There were 2 models not roped off and one you could sit in look under the hood, etc.
