And you know why they are charging more, right? It's because of the corrupt MLB and NFL organizations. They are holding cable and satellite companies hostage.I’ve been using it for almost 20 years now. The past year they started de-contenting some very expensive packages—MLB And NFL notably. So you have to go to the very top tier. It’s ridiculously expensive now, considering most people listen to podcasts or streaming services anywhere. But if you’re into sports or news and live in spotty coverage areas, it’s worth it. Have to do the threaten to cancel thing every 6 months or so, which gets old.
Sirius has to re-up with NFL to carry content every so often. It's a contract. When that contract is up NFL wants more more more........... Sirius has to pass it along.
Blame where blame belongs.
Same thing happens with cable companies and satellite TV - the content providers keep demanding more so the cable companies are stuck in the middle and subscribers complain that it's the fault of the cable company. They aren't faultless but the major reasons for prices are the corrupt NFL making their millions while their CEO and board make their millions - oh, but it's the fault of the cable company.
MLB and football are major money-makers.
