Skid Plate recommendations for the 5.7/Hemi

I would reach out to Next Venture in Colrado, they mqke skid plates that are top notch and make them for the 392 Wrangler, not sure if it will work out but you might not hav ethat much to do to make it fit.....Jack

Two car garage used Next Venture Motorsports 392 skid on his. Ozark Overland Adventures used Asfir for his 5.7.
I used Asfir's 3.6 skid plate on my 5.7 and modified the engine mount straps. Not sure if the others needed to do anything on their installs.

I guess if the original transmission cross member stays you could put even full belly skids on as the issues would be the crossover of exhaust if there is one and as JTPatriot said fabbing new engine mount straps is not a big deal.....Jack

Another vote for NextVenture Motorsports, they are pricey, but worth every penny to protect your investment in that engine swap.

Next Venture Motorsports sells belly skids for pretty much everything including hemis. I know someone who has a hemi JT with lots of next venture stuff. I reached out to see how his skids are setup.

He got back to me already. Yes. Hellcat JT with full next venture belly skids, so you’re good. Ask for Casey. She’ll set you up.

My JT originally had a set of rockhard skids with modified uprights to the motor mounts. It fit great, however, when I went long arms the flat belly system interferes with the longer CA's.

Next Venture uses different mounting and are designed differently to work with long arms. I only have the engine/trans skid so far.

We are not geographically close, but I do have the rockhard skid system just sitting in my garage and they've never seen a rock. If interest I think I could give you a pretty good deal (just not sure how to get them to you).
