So 35x12.5xr17 Spare doesn't fit underneath?

I ended up taking it home and mounting, no problem (285/75R18 Falken Wildpeaks).

I also decided to cut out a circle of garage floor mat to put between the finished side of the rim and the underside of the bed.

And a shot of the factory original spare tire/rim.

Definitely fits. 35x12.5 Toyo MT on the stock steel wheel fit no problem for me.

Now, I just hope they actually do the five-wheel rotation and not just toss the new wheel and tire in the bed....

So I just got back from the tire place and they told me that my 35x12.5xR17s would not fit in the spare tire mount under the bed.

Were they being lazy or has anyone else ran into this on a Max tow Sport S? I was going to get under there later and see what they are talking about but didn't have time right now.

They obviously didn't even try. My 37x12.50R17 fits snugly but it fits.

Guys:

1. ALL 35" tires will fit under the Gladiator (well, all typical 35" tires)
