Sorry to hear about the wheel weight issue. Should be able to correct with a lower profile wheel weight. Most tire stores should carry them in stock. While we do not have Discount Tire store locations in your area, I will do my best to help. Sending a DM your way.
Now that's service! The man doesn't have a dog in the fight and is willing to go above and beyond. SOOOOOO rare in our current times. ?

Finally, I got the issue fixed! Thanks god.

Questions: I only did rebalance for two rear wheels, and now they have low profile weights. No more rubbing. Good. But I didn't let the new shop touch the front wheels since they are not rubbing even though the old shop put the thick weights. Is it okay if the front wheels and rear wheels are balanced by different shops? Any concerns?

Yes it's an issue. You may not be able to rotate your tires. I strongly recommend going back to the new shot and having the front's done. While they're at it, have them move the rears to the front and so you will know for sure the ones from the front don't rub on the rear.

Regarding the balancing, it shouldn't. If you don't have any vibration through the different speeds up to highway speeds you should be good to go.

As expensive as tires are, you want to rotate every 5,000 or so. I've let mine go longer and the treads are starting to feather / ramp.

Umm, you are right. If the current two front wheels switch to the rear, they will rub again for sure because they still have thick weight on them.
Just fixed it today and didn't have a chance to drive at highway speed. But I guess balancing-wise, it should be fine.

The funny thing is that these two shops are actually the same brand but in different locations...

Fr bro. I can't believe it. It sucks. We have VIP tire, Sullivan tire, Fire Stone, and Town Fair Tire. Have you heard any of those?
Nope. I just moved here from Houston last summer so I haven’t needed any new tires yet. Just been doing the routine maintenance at the dealer.

Went to a nearby shop despite its negative reviews(3.5/5), and now I regret it. Here's the situation:

1. They mentioned they couldn't program the tire sensor for my 23 Gladiator because they only have the capability for the 21 model year. OK FINE.

2. After the installation of my new rims, there's a strange noise coming from the left driver's side. I recorded it on my phone. Please pay close attention to the video before the train noise kicks in.

Before the installation, I had 315 tires with stock rims, and my new rims are 17x8.5 with a 0 offset. The shop checked and claimed that nothing was rubbing, but they're unsure about the source of the issue. They attributed it to aftermarket parts being unpredictable. I'm really frustrated. I mean, it's just wheels—how difficult can the installation be?

I love my new rims tho.

Thank you guys!

Sounds to me like a brake issue. Maybe dust cover did you try barely touching the brake as you drive? See if the noise changes?

I read the first page and was coming to say that what you are hearing is the weights hitting the brake caliper before I got to the post where you found it. There is criminally small amounts of space between rear caliper and rim on gladiators. This will slowly clearance itself in a few thousand miles as the caliper and weights will sand each other down. Other option is to just take a file to both or to swap weights for thinner but wider weights.

This is much more common than you think as the clearance on the gladiator rear is significantly smaller than most vehicles where the fronts will rub before the rears. All in all its not honestly a big deal, more of a pita but its an easy thing to miss unless you are specifically looking for the wheel weight hitting. If you dont want to pay for balancing, and the amount of weight isnt super high, go to harbor freight, buy low profile weights, and just replace them in the exact same spot yourself.
