So I'm installing my Ready Lift SST 2.5 spacer lift on my Gladiator Max Tow. Everything is done but the shock extension brackets don't fit. The holes are impossible to line up. I really don't want to tear everything back down. Any advice? Can I run it without extensions for a week on road? I won't have another day off to address it until then. Am I doing it wrong? In a bit of a panic. Thanks

Chris

None of them line up or just this one? You may need to try swapping side to side if none of them are lining up. With out the extensions as long as your shocks arent topping out you should be fine for a week, it will just ride like shit and you wont have much down travel.

most dont line up. You will have to drill a new hole on the bottom to line the bottom holes up and then your main shock holes should line up.

I never tightened the bottom bolt. I was trying to get the factory hardware through to line up but it won't go. I've tried swapping sides and neither fit.

Just use a drill to enlarge the hole on the bracket enough so you can get the bolt through.

i cant tell from your pic, but did you have yours sitting all the way against the shock mount? Looking at the pic, it looks like it isnt sitting all the way against it.

I'm in Spring Hill. Yes I drilled out the bottom hole like the pic shows above. It's the through hole for the long bolt and sleeve that doesn't line up. I can't figure out how it would even be possible.

This step with the sleeve doesn't line up

Have you tried using a bolt/nut to cinch the bottom of the aftermarket bracket up to the bottom of the factory bracket? I guess what I'm asking is, is it seated upward as far as possible?

Thats what I was asking as well, because the top picture it did not look that way.

I eventually did that but still didn't line up anymore than that picture I posted.

I heard back from Readylift this morning. They said they have seen this before and try hitting it with a mallet. I have already attempted this and the metal is flush at the bottom and can't go any further. Waiting to hear back after my response to them.
