I was driving with the top off this afternoon and ofcourse naturally I had to turn the volume up due to the wind. Well while riding at 60mph I started to notice a popping sound. Volume at around 25 or 26. So when I came to a stop I left it loud and the passenger sound bar speaker is blown. Bass on equalizer is set to in the middle. Has anyone experienced warrantying any speakers? Are dealerships pretty easy to deal with when it comes to diagnosis and replacement?

lol they would have a field day with me, I drive around everywhere with the volume at 38, only because it doesn’t go to 39 😂

I’ve blown more than one stock speaker in my time, it’s easier to find the take offs online for super cheap/free vs trying to make an appointment with the dealership

I don't know why anyone would waste their time trying to warranty stock speakers any more than stock shocks. Aftermarket replacements for well under $100 that are much better than oem. Even if I lived across the street from the dealer the time alone would pay for the upgrade. Nothing is free when you include your time. If it's not a major/expensive issue I use it as an opportunity to upgrade vs dealing with the dealer to get more factory cheap parts that have already proven themselves inadequate.

Should be covered by the 3/36K bumper to bumper warranty.

I had a blown dash speaker in my RAM 2500 and CDJR dealer replaced it with no issue under warranty. Going to be a two visit event though, one to verify and order and the second for the replacement.

I am not a audiophile but @Zachanadandy makes a good point on aftermarket and how you value your time.

Speaker confirmed by dealer to be blown. Speaker has been ordered and will be replaced under warranty.
