Okay, kind of a noob with my Gladiator, so reading all these posts, there is no definite answer or exact answer with real numbers, right?
I was hoping for a "no go" or a "greenlight" on a Mopar 2 inch lift kit for my Sport S and Max Tow, oh, part of the equation is I already have stock Mojave wheels/tires.
So maybe my question has changed to should I consider a Mopar lift kit OR a 2 inch spacer?
My thinking is I don't want to stress the stock suspension with the spacers, anyone have experience or knowledge of spacers with stock Max Tow suspension?
Thanks.

I've had a 2.5 inch Readylift SSt spacer kit on mine since it had 300 miles on it, now got just over 42,000 miles on it. No issues that i can tell, rides as good as stock other than slightly rougher 37's I'm running now

How would spacers stress the stock suspension and more that lifting with longer springs?
It's still lifting it and changing geometry of the arms, track bar, etc.

Any lift will in any case impact towing numbers. It won't behave the same because the higher center of gravity, the geometry of the upper and lower arms (and they are no longer parallel to the ground) so behavior while towing will be different.
Figure out what's most important to you - the tow rating or cool looks and bigger tires (again, often for cool looks)

But "stress" on parts won't be different with spacers than with springs. It's still going to sit higher off the axles either way.

Ummm, sure looks copmpletely wonky and like your riding the stops on the rear? :whatsgoingon:

3.5" skyjacker coil spring lift. It doesn't sag too much under a load and rides pretty good. Probably more than what you're looking for but just shows that you can do a spring lift and don't completely lose your "truck" abilities.

@Scott H

Really need to know what your goal is;

a) Do you just want a lift and to run 33-35"?

Or

b) do you want to keep all the factory capabilites and do the same?

if a then do the mopar lift kit, 2", and run 35"s. Good kit, factory set up.

If b then spacers 1.5" front and 3/4" rear will give you more than enough look and room for tires, 285/r75/r17 are 34" ish and split that all in the middle. This give a you mild "lift" but keeps the factory max tow set up in place; and all the engenering it has. progressive springs, payload etc.
