Sport S —- Rubicon Rock Rails or Overland Side Steps for deflecting rocks from tires...

How wide are the rubicon rock rails? I am looking at adding either these or overland side steps to help deflect flying rocks from my 35’s. My Sport S didn’t come with either. Plus it will look better... ha! Thoughts?

Not wide enough to step on...they are mainly for protection and appearance. I am selling a set off my Rubicon because I replaced them with N-Fab podium step rails. They look good and have steps making it easier to get in. I really needed the steps for the wife and kids (vertically challenged).
