Sport S Build - Pricing

Just getting a sanity check real quick, trying to work pricing for my dad, and local dealers really aren't coming off much compared to what I'm seeing here. Here's the build:

24S, 7" radio, hard top, conv. group, safety group (my dad wants it, that's the big difference), auto, bedliner, steps, A/T tires, after employee pricing it's $41,259. Taxes, tags, etc. is roughly $1500, so figure $43k, they are only coming down to $42k. They are giving him $20k for his trade (2013 JK with 40k miles) which is well within the KBB, any thoughts?

Are you finding jeeps with that exact build? If he’s ever gonna run bigger tires, one with the max tow package is absolutely worth the $1k

Not many, I wanted him to get that, but he doesn't want any bigger tires than what he's getting, he's 75, doesn't really care about huge tires, just something to drive on the beach and screw around in.

Yeah, that's what I'm telling him, but the problem is I can't find anything comparable, reached out to Tri-City since Eden is somewhat close to them in NC.

Better incentives on an Overland this month vs loaded Sport S. Whats the MSRP of the build? What incentives are you applying? If you DM me I can help you find one.

Modify your search & exclude the stuff that doesnt matter so much. Namely the Bedliner (about the same cost to have it done local), Tires (wear items that will eventually be replaced regardless) & Steps (plenty of aftermarket options for less money).

I did, I basically just did black and safety group, there's not much that has a hard top around 28409 with a price (after employee pricing) under $46k, there's 3, one has a soft top, one in Cary I'm checking on (125 miles away)

Ya know unless he's in a hurry I would say to wait. JT's kept selling through the shutdowns so dealerships have very few on hand compared to a couple months ago. Once the supply line is full again I bet deals will be easier.

Are you ordering it??? I must have missed something because i do the build at jeep using the options you mentioned and its coming in 2k less... might be worth ordering one if the dealer stock has options you dont care about

The other options are things he wants but could get aftermarket - bedliner, step up rails. I built it out and the price matches on jeep.com

No, it's on the lot, but yeah I priced it out, the other things were just step-up rails, and I built it out to $38,638 or so, so there's something with the 24S package pricing that's not matching up with the website. I'm definitely bringing this up to them.

I mean I bought a '07 JK as soon as ordering opened and just ordered with a straight 6% below invoice off the Project-JK forum, so it's been awhile since I priced/dealt with Jeep.
