Hello, my first post to the forum, and I promise I've tried to search for my answer. I have a 2023 Rubicon Gladiator, it came fromt the factory with the color match hardtop. It also came with the plastic front bumper. I have obtained a OEM steel.bumper and winch plate kit. I also have a Warn Zeon-10s for it. The mopar "accessory" winch is a 8,000lb which also weighs 75lbs. Between the steel bumper, install plate and winch I am guessing I'm adding 120 to 135lbs. I have not been able to find any decoder to the factory spring part numbers. I would ideally like to know what factory front springs would be the strongest to have the best support for the front bumper. I don't really need to lift it, and I'd prefer just a spring swap. I should say that I do tow with the jeep, generally no more than 5k lbs about 3500 lbs regularly. Unless there is a VIN number out there that had all this factory there would be no way to find the mopar spring number I should be using. Thoughts??? I really would prefer to not use aftermarket parts but I'm open to suggestions as a last resort. The only alternative I've considered is a AEV 2.5" kit that specifically states the standard springs are for steel bumper and winch. Thank all for any ideas or perhaps help identifying the right mopar springs to use.

To get the springs you want, you will need to find a Rubicon that came from the factory with all the equivalent options installed. You will then need the part numbers off the tags on the springs, or the VIN number off the truck.

Another option would be to try and get some springs from a diesel Rubicon. Those are already compensating for the extra 400 pounds the diesel engine adds.

Springs from a fully loaded Gladiator Rubicon with factory steel bumper would be better - but on my Overland, I bit the bullet and went with aftermarket springs to support all the weight I added. And I don't regret it at all.

I see Mr._Bill popped in with good ideas -

Get the heavier Rubicon springs. Yours came with the lighter pair of springs due to the lighter equipment. Find a fully equipped JTR (Gladiator Rubicon) and grab the vin and ask Benny, a forum sponsor allmoparparts for the spring numbers.

I get that with a VIN we can lookup the springs but in the past few months I've not found one anywhere. I even have the service department at my dealership on the lookout... but no luck. Anyone want to message me a VIN? Not sure if the diesel springs match all the hardware to just drop them in... has anyone done it test can share if it was successful and perhaps thr outcome in ride height and quality?

Ride height will vary. No one can definitively tell you what the change will be - only a range.
Even with a "lift kit" any number they give is nominal and may be more or less.
For example - some guys have put "Rubicon springs" under other models and the range of gain has been anywhere from about 3/4" to 2 1/4".
A lift kit that says 2" may get you 2.5" or just 2" depending on the kit and your vehicle.
You can get close.
The springs will be just springs and there's no hardware to it. You swap springs (although good to match shocks to the springs as much as possible)

A lot of guys here have swapped springs back and forth so you may get some ideas on what the diesel spring swap may bring, or even just springs from a loaded gas Rubicon.
So you've not found any fully loaded JT Rubicons on a dealer lot?
Hit Jeep dot come or even the vehicle finders online. They all list VIN numbers and from that you can get a window sticker or a build sheet - all from your own chair in your house.
I looked at dozens of Wranglers on dealer lots from my chair - the dealers list the VIN, I plugged it in and got window stickers and build sheets and found exactly what they had.

The winch will still sag you an extra half to 3/4 inch so you may want to go with a small spacer on top of the springs. I can message you my Rubicon vin it came with everything minus the winch

I'm thinking about 1/2" or so on mine - with the Rubicon springs under it.

Thank you everyone for the support, what is the best manufacturer of spacers if I need an extra 1/2"? I know better than to ask the best lift manufacturer but if the OEM springs are on intergalactic backorder it may come to that. I hope everyone has a great 4th of July.

Teraflex has half inch spacers with the nubs still on top.

Good day all, I wanted to post an update. I did some extensive spring research with an VIN and explored some of the prior threads on spring combinations. It turns out most of the spring numbers in earlier comments have been superseded and the springs I have for the 2023 are the best available. I have installed the Mopar steel bumper, OEM plate kit and updated the OEM skid plate as shown. The measurements are off about a 8th of an inch due to temperature and tire pressure changes in the pictures but indeed the sag on the springs is about 1/2". I did get the TeraFlex spacers in both 1/2" and 1", but will install the 1/2" to keep the factory rake as I do tow with the Gladiator. Although all the parts for the bumper and install are OEM they have separate manuals and install guides. I would caution anyone doing this to pay very close attention to the order of operations and what bolts get installed, vs tightened as I had to back off the bumper once to get to something that I could not reach after it was pulled to. Overall I do recommend this as self install for anyone with reasonable wrenching ability. I have not installed the solenoid yet, but will be doing that as soon as we get a few cool days. I did put aircraft fire sleeve on the positive line as it is routed for extra abrasion protection over the Warn factory guard however. I think an AEV suspension may be in my future down the line, but as this is my daily driver as well as my trailer hauler I need to consider the additional geometry there. It should be noted that the ORM steel bumper came with the LED fog lights, and a setting in the software has to be changed so they work properly and do not flicker- Thank you for everyone that helped with this and shared insights.

The only real way to compare heights and changes due to springs or weight changes is center of wheel or hub, up to the fender flare edge. Otherwise there are too many other variables like you mentioned - tire temperature, air pressure and so on.
With this method you can even compare to other similar vehicles. I can compare my Overland to any other Overland by going center of wheel to fender flare.

It won't matter what tires they have on their truck, we can compare heights based on springs.
I measured several Overlands in the lots, compared, and know now how much higher than stock these springs made it sit - even though tires may be different.

Does your winch clutch handle rotate fully, a lot of guys have had to trim a little bit off to allow for free spooling winch…Jack
