most time squeeks or cracking i have found to be loose sway bar bolts, check those first easy fix if so

Update: squeak has been found!
turns out the pads and rotors are bad??? I have been experiencing this at 8700 miles on a new jeep, curious if some of the pad material is defective or a bad batch, dealer is replacing rotors and pads. Here’s another video, nobody is in the driver seat, nobody is pressing the breaks it’s just rolling and squeaking lol

Dude this thing makes so many random noises that I gave up on caring to figure them out lol. If/when it breaks, I’ll get it fixed.

I did have that squeaking noise though. There’s also a clicking noise (again, I thought I fixed it) and a whooshing noise when turning now too. The wooshing is only when going forward for some reason though.

So glad you figured this out. Mine had been doing this for about 2 months now. I've had ny head out the window and driven all over my work parking lot forward backwards and sideways if I could. I even had a co worker walk beside it but anytime anyone gets near where they think it's coming from, it stops! Lol. But seriously, thanks!!

Is this similar to your sounds? I’ve developed this. No consistency in when or isolating conditions.
Did you figure this out? Mine does the same thing

I haven’t. It actually went away for a long time but is again randomly doing it.

Mine did the same thing so I took it back to the dealer as my 3/36 warranty was running out. "Couldn't replicate the problem". But they did find a shock with a leak and replaced that. Now I wonder if the squeak still occurs if the extended MaxCare Warranty I have will cover the pads/rotor replacement that i am sure has something to do with it or I am just doomed to live with the squeak or pay for the replacements myself. I did keep the paper as proof I took it in with the concern before the original warranty expired

Took mine to the dealer a few weeks ago for this issue. The fix is to replace the rear pads and rotors, which are only warranted until 12k miles. Mine’s over 30k. $700 to do the rear brakes. I figure I’ll deal with the squeak until I need new brakes and do them myself with higher quality pads and rotors at a fraction of the cost.

My sound seems to come from the front. They could not replicate at the dealer this week.
I will eventually install a big brake kit on mine since I’m running 37s.

I've had this since a couple months into buying the Jeep (at 40k now and the weels haven't fallen off). I just assumed it was flash rust on the rotors.

Most vehicles I've had have the take-off squeak when it's wet or cold but admittedly the Jeep is a bit louder about it.

Anybody checked what their brakes look like before moving?
