Hello, looking to do a Warn Xenon winch install and i want it to be as stealthy as possible, thus the idea would be to relocate the warn control pack. Has anyone done it/have suggestions on where to relocate it under the hood?

Any other diesel specific considerations to keep in mind?

Thx

You might need to go with the “platinum” series of Warn winches to avoid having the clutch lever in the way to achieve full stealthiness as in the above picture

This. But I’d honestly just go with Smitty kit pictured above if I were going stealth. It’s been around for a while and it’s popular. Seems to be reliable. It way more affordable. And it’s also got a wireless remote. Plus it’s proven stealth-able.

That was the plan until i read about how the battery in the Platinum remote only last 2 weeks. Was also interested in running my air compressor off the Aux power ports the platinum has, but the amperage is too high on the compressor. So no go on the platinum.
