Damage control is a good thing in this case. They need to get the rank and file UAW members back on their side. Dealers, too.

Yeah, for sure. Like I said, it’s not time for these re-employed folks to celebrate completely as theres a lot of work to do to fix this mess but at least they will have a decent Christmas now and there‘s some hope for the future!

Hope is a powerful thing and is a needed morale booster - the former Chrysler brands need that. Especially after Tavares bled it dry.
