Put my order in today as well. They didn't give me a timeframe, but I'm expecting at least 8 weeks. They told me that the front trail cam and bed liner were on restriction, so it's definitely going to be a while. It'll give me time to sell my Highlander.
Congrats! Yea, I wasn't going to order the bed liner but they said it was showing as a requirement for some reason. He started over several times to see if it was a glitch, and tried rebooting but every time, it showed the bed liner as a required item. So I went with it. He said he hadn't seen that on any of the previous orders he's put in, only on Stingray. Hopefully it won't hold it up too much lol

I checked in with jeep chat this morning to make sure everything was good with my order, still doesn’t seem real I actually ordered the truck in Sting Gray, and they said I’ve moved to “D” status.
Happy for you, but another demonstration of how royally screwed up the Gladiator roll out has been. You ordered yours last week, and are already D status with a VIN. Mine's been in C status for more than 2 months on an order placed 4/3.

I completely agree. I placed the order Friday and to move to D already seems ridiculous since people have been in line a lot longer than me. Maybe I will be stuck in D a while, I don’t know. The order and build process does not make sense to me

My order officially went in today. Its the truck I want I know that. I mean where else can i get a convertible off road truck but something about spending 50k makes me nervous that im missing something or could of found a better vehicle for the money but no other family friendly car excites me.

This is so odd. They must be prioritizing certain locations only. A dealer here in CT had me on hold for a few minutes while they looked into it with the sales manager, and even after telling them that I've seen people posting VIN status on sting grey, they still told me the system is only allowing the order to be placed, and that it still will not be in production for a couple months. Odd how either jeep is misleading their own dealerships, or how the dealerships are so misinformed of the reality of the situation.

We could be stuck in “D” status for a while even though we have VIN numbers. There’s a thread or two about it with other colors. The odd thing is people who ordered months ago but don’t have a VIN yet.

Just got off the phone with him regarding my order.... give him a call at the store number... his cell phone reception isn't the best in the store. he's not there on thurs or fridays
