You could even pick up another set of stock wheels dirt cheap to try it on—that’s what I did. People are practically giving them away.
This is always the most cost-effective solution. Many still have the TPMS installed, so it's a simple bolt on and go. I think the Mojave wheels and tires especially look great:

JL Rubicons are nice as well:

While I've added a new bumper and winch (bought it with the plastic bumper), I've no intentions to do other true modifications to my Rubicon (I consider things like the Leitner rack and lights to be accessorizing). I bought it with the intent of overlanding, not rock crawling, and its more than capable to do so as is from the factory. I'm also drawn to the aesthetics of early 90's Defender 110's, so lifting and large tires that stick out way past the fenders don't really do it for me.

My JTR is 7mo old and with the exception of Sunrider still stock.

This is the longest ive gone stock with a new Jeep.....I am sure to fall off the wagon any day now. Trying to stay clean at least until stock tires need replacing.

I "fell of the wagon" on front bumper so I could install a winch. Otherwise just bug deflector, aux lights and aux 12v outlets, Weather Tech front mud flaps. Overland side steps so stock on a JT :fingerscrossed:
Stock tires and rims, I bought second set from member here with OEM street tires that will probably be put on when I wear out current tires. Quite possibly sooner than a lot of owners, over 13k in 6 months. ;) just driving to work and back.

I have truly fallen out of this thread, , where were you guys for support? I just ordered Rough Country contour steps for my 2021 Mojave I don't even have yet, although it is built and at body vendor getting bedliner sprayed in, should get it some time after the steps show up! And to think you guys call yourselves a support group.......

Don't worry Jack we all will in the end. ;) I have a 80w solar panel system on way for hood mount install. I think that your still in the stock club until lift kit and tire change.

Cancel all notifications, subscriptions, information threads, tv, streaming services to anything Jeep. Move to an isolated island with no other vehicles. Have no radio reception. Then maybe, just maybe, you will be able to go cold turkey to the extreme desire to mod your stock vehicle..... What a joke, I couldn't do it lmao.....

Rocksalt -do those stick out past the flares?

I'm in a bit of a dilemma with this thread. I heavily modded my TJ as I used it offroading and amateur rockcrawling. My wifes TJ was mostly stock

The Overland we picked up is hers. There will be no planned offroading to a park or anything. BUT....even though it's brand new and still looks good, I KNOW I'll get the itch sooner or later.

I have the auto and 3.73s - so not sure what diameter will start affecting the gearing/speed. Also - during the winter, I don't want to rooster-tail salt spray all over the side of the Jeep - so I'd like to keep the width of the tire undercover of the fender flare.

Any info on this would help.

Easy. You’re good. Those are just accessories. You’re still part of the club.

Side steps keep the rocks and spray from hitting the side.

That looks very good on your truck. I personally think the stock tires are great, and I'll likely replace them with same when they're worn out. I'm undecided about getting a snow tire for winter NC mountain snow driving. The stock ones may do just fine.

Im still stock, but ive only had mine for half a week and maybe 200 miles now.
I plan to change stuff eventually, but minimal at first.

With that said, anyone doing trails on the stock AT Bridgestone Duelers? Not sure ive seen anyone mention it or any threads about it.
