Just wondering what everyone is doing to upgrade the stock sound bar. I should have upgraded to the alpine system as the stock system is garbage. Not looking to break the bank but curious what people have done

I put a kicker HS10 behind the seat and some kenwood KFC-X3C in the upper dash it’s ridiculous how much better it sounds.

The upgrade system is also garbage TBH. Aftermarket is the way to go. Unfortunately if you ask ten people here you’ll get twenty opinions. Best is if you have a car audio shop locally, go in and listen to your music on lots of different speakers. Something will speak to you

I have the Alpine Premium Audio. I bought some of the Kenwood KFC-X3C speakers to go in the dash, but never got them installed. I have since ordered a set of the Terra Acoustics speakers to go in the dash. I'm going to see about replacing the small factory speakers in the sound bar with the Kenwoods when I install the Terra Acoustics in the dash.

I went with the Select Increments JL/JT Pods for the sound bar and an Insane Audio JL4001 head unit to upgrade the stock 7" non Alpone system. Night and Day difference.

Hardest part about the sound bar is removing the center mount light without snapping the brackets! I did and its now mounted witha 4”x4” sq of hd velkro.

I am gutting it all. I started with the premium Alpine 8.4” system and powered sub.

I added the:
Phoenix 12.1” tablet
Kicker powered 10”
Ordered the Terra Accoustics Top dash
Knee panels and sound bar all MB Quart.

Tablet and powered 10” are installed and working well.

Other speakers are inbound this week on shipping. Cant wait to hear thr difference.

I was very pleasantly pleased with the Terra Acoustics upgrade for the front, I would be interested in any plug and play upgrades for the rear. I don’t need anything louder, maybe an equivalent increase in the low to mid range.

Well I tell ya. I have the alpine sound bar and, it sounds great, but for some tones which are either not compatible with the speakers or with the Tupperware they’re mounted in. A bit of a let down. I’ve taken it out and tried to make sure it’s not vibrating against anything else. Seems to be the speakers or inside the bar though. Removed some vibration with a felt buffer and making sure it’s not vibrating against anything. Still considerable noise.

What do you think of the IA Jl4001?
Love it, I've had it for about 9 months now. Only had a few minor issues and when I contacted then they got an engineer on the phone to resolve them.

I updated the soundbar with Kicker - CS Series 6" x 9" 3-Way Car Speakers with Polypropylene Cones, added KICKER - CS Series 6-1/2" 2-Way Car Speakers with Polypropylene Cones to the dash and a Kenwood - 400W Class D Bridgeable Multichannel Amplifier. It did not break the bank to do this and the sound improvement was well worth the total of $450. I wanted the additional wattage in order to hear my music with the freedom panels off and the windows down. This is the 3rd Jeep I've done this to and it's noticeable.
