Stuck in "in production" since 2-20, is this normal?

If this is indicative of the current wait times, I better take off my coat and stay a while. Mine hasn't even been "Scheduled", just sitting in "Order Confirmed" for about 5 weeks now. If there's no more tornados, maybe I'll get it a little faster.

Unless '24 transition messes things up.

Welp, got an email from my "jeep cares specialist" and got informed "no changes, still waiting for shipping"

Boggles my mind they don't know it was damaged.

It just keeps getting better. Dealer finall thought they should "reach out to the Jeep rep" and got the following

It had more damage then they were originally told, and it is now 3300 and is the reason it's taken even longer to get to the dealership. I'll have an opportunity to look at it and decide if I still want this one, Jeep has automatically cloned the order and is making the exact same one, but no ETA for either the damaged one or the new one.

This just boggles my mind.

Pass on it. It will bother you subconsciously taking a known repaired vehicle like that. Takes the joy out of buying new that you paid for but did not get.

At this point I'm debating on just waiting for the next model year. This has been infuriating with all the miscommunication and the dealership is like heres 500 off. Like really?

At the end of the day, it is out of the dealerships control and they are not going to take it in the shorts unless Jeep passes something down to them on discounting it.

Might want to look into another dealership to order from if you decide to wait for the next model year order banks to open. Give you a fresh start dealing with somebody else.

Funny enough, this dealership was the only one to play ball and go under invoice here for me.

It's actually about an hour away and I've bought 4 Jeeps from them.

The saga continues! Information changes every time I talk to them!

So I received a new email from the dealership and another sales consultant.

Now they are saying on top of being terribly wrong by over 3k in damages, they found even more as they were repairing it and the original Jeep just isn't coming at all.

The NEW / new gladiator has a shipping of 20th of next month.

Still can't seem to get a VON or anything to track the new one.

Dealer kept my trade in front December, 33k for a 2018 2 door jl. And have posted it for 40k lol.

But also got the 3k rebate, so after trade I'm out just shy of 35k.

Got it and immediately hooked up my trailer and took off to the mountains!
