Stuck in "in production" since 2-20, is this normal?

Aaaaand I'm right. Tracker changed to "TBD" instead of April 17th now.
Dealership said it's "has been shipped", meaning it has technically left the factory, but it has not gotten on a rail car yet.
Jeep chat last week said it's already been shipped,

And funny enough I get a random email from jeepcustomercare saying "awaiting shipment"

I've never asked the same question and gotten so many answers before!

Yeah, almost posted something to this effect last week when you said it was shipped but did not want to squish your hopes as it could have easily just showed up in a few days also. Shipping is probably one of the worst segments of the whole process to predict. Even once it hits the nearest railyard and is off loaded and sitting in storage area waiting on final truck transport to your dealership can be another delay. Even the dealership cannot go locally get it for you.

Yup, going to call and actually talk to them tomorrow morning.

I know it's not the dealerships fault, but they offered only 500 off feels low for another 4-5 month wait. I'm still trying to figure out what the 315 is suppose to be for.

At this point, I may just wait and see if the gladiators get any of the new stuff the wranglers are getting and wait

I don't think they are, I think she just goofed the wording. But I'll hopefully find out tomorrow

Got a call at 2pm with the dealership, hopefully I'll know more then. I'm hoping mine doesn't have damage but saying "tornado" scares me lol

Well, it has "wind damage" no idea what that means.

Dealer did say it was under 300 to fix, and since it's under 500 no Carfax reports.

Well, funny enough Jeep chat still says it's waiting on shipping. Asked where I heard it was damaged and had absolutely no idea.

Specialist told me on the 17th, it was still awaiting shipping but the tornado that supposedly damaged it happened on March 31st.

I can't seem to wrap my head around the fact it was damaged in MARCH and they didn't tell anyone until 20 days later.

No more info from the dealership, just a new eta of 3 weeks.

At least you know that yours was damaged in some way. I never found out what happened to mine. It eventually showed up, but no one had a clue as to why it took an extra 2+ months to arrive.

If this is indicative of the current wait times, I better take off my coat and stay a while. Mine hasn't even been "Scheduled", just sitting in "Order Confirmed" for about 5 weeks now. If there's no more tornados, maybe I'll get it a little faster.

Unless '24 transition messes things up.
