Stuck in JB Hell?

Jeep chat just told me that the most amount of time it can spend in JB is 30 days.........I think thats up from 14.....when I checked yesterday - LOL.

14,30 it’s still a lie. You will be in JB as long as it takes and escalating the build will not help one bit.
Then you may sit in KZ for another 40 days.

Jeep has zero care about getting your truck to you in a timely manner or compensating you for there inept handaling of your build.

I have not.

Even if I receive it tomorrow and it is everything I have always wanted in a small truck it will not make up for the way that FCA treats costumers.

Truth! I finally heard back from FCA after escalating my situation and they didnt tell me anything diffent than what jeep Chat told me. Just a long non answer email. I feel your pain @Troybilt , if it wasnt for the amazing deal i am getting i would have canceled my order by now and worked a deal with one on a lot somewhere. Im pretty sure my Silverado knows i have another vehicle coming because its starting to break left and right. This Gladiator is no longer a "want", its a "need" and i need it soon lol

I feel your pain. I just dropped $1k on our 11 year Acura MDX. It becomes the extra vehicle parked out back once the JT shows. Just kills me...

So check this out...
My launch edition gladiator was ordered 3-25-19 by a dealer. I purchased this one from them because they gave me a great deal when my first slimy dealer tryed to take me over the coals.
When it was in D1 the estimated ship date was 7-12-19. I think the truck was built and went into JB status July 15th. It's been 18 days in JB.
What stinks is Everytime I check with Jeep chat they won't give me status updates because they say it's a dealer vehicle.
Dealer called them when I bought it and try to have my name put on it and code it as a sold unit... However FCA would not let them put my name on it.
I just want my truck! Man this is getting depressing.

So Just placed my order last week and skipped the bedliner option. Do we know what the other hold up items are/were? Also, I am new to this whole process so from what I am tracking from this thread is:
1. Vin awarded
2. D/D1 (Scheduling) status
3. Build sheet
4. JB Status
5. I Status
6. KZ/KZS?
7. Dealership possession

am I missing anything on this process list?

I don’t think anyone knows for sure - it’s all just a guessing game since Jeep hasn’t come out and said “X” items will require extra time. IMO it’s not the bedliner- trucks roll out everyday with the bedliner. I would guess the steel bumper is an issue, I see what appears to be the exact same truck as me stickered without a steel bumper daily.....occasionally a LE with a steel bumper shows up. Can you even order a truck with steel front bumper anymore - I don’t know? If you placed an order just sit back for the ride, could be 5 weeks, could be 5 months.

There is a thread in here that outlines the codes - prolly page 2 by now on the main “order, pricing...”

Yep, I'm getting to that place too. Not a JB club member though. JB would be progress.

A buying decision nearly half the cost of my house and you get canned answers and "escalation" means you get form letters from Jeff.

They're very fortunate that this is a unique vehicle, or I'd be gone. And as soon as a viable alternative is on the market, I'll no longer be a customer. They've achieved that.

Just getting frustrated when you see stingrays already delivered to people and Pumpkins on trucks headed to dealerships. cant get an answer from FCA or chat on what is taking so long. Nothing to do but sit here and wait, Just needed to vent, rant over.

Punk'n in JB status as of today. No Bedliner ordered (and no news of it being forced on Punk'n), so I'm assuming this is the rock rail portion of the build? Also assuming you're getting held back because of the bed liner/head liner?

JB for a week now! Probably bed liner. No head-liner. Nothing else I can think of. I saw the mopar shop turns out 300-400 trucks a day, I wonder how many Gladiators are put through each day. I hope I'm not in it for 46 days.... wth???! My estimated ship-date was last Thursday (15th Aug). LOL
