OK, so my Gladiator developed a loud creak / pop when going over bumps at around 2000 miles. I thought it was something with the hardtop, but I finally discovered its the passenger side sun visor. Not the visor itself, but rather where it mounts to the roll cage. Both sides seem very loose. Is that how they are supposed to be?

Common issue as described above, many times caused by the passenger pushing the visor too far forward. The part holding that visor arm is plastic and is easy to break. Terrible design

I'm going to ask Jeep to warranty the passenger side which is creaking. Very annoying.

Thanks for the link. Couldn't buy the exact one but found a similar one easily.
just got my new to me '22 and tried to tighten these and noticed the flimsy build. No breaks yet so hopefully the bracket will strengthen them to prevent future failure. 🤞🏼

I installed the clips and although they MIGHT delay some eventual breakage on the visor mount, there is still tons of movement. The clips mount in the outside and it feels like there should be something ABOVE ( between it and the window frame) the plastic bracket to prevent it rocking back and forth when the visor is adjusted.
I may try some dense foam / weather stripping to see if that reduces the movement.
