So far so good. Drove in heavy thunderstorm the other afternoon and not a single sign of leakage.thank you! ......ok last question....how does it do in heavy rain ...any leaks or anything...FloridaIan’s need to know
I went to their site and it appears the Sunrider rebate is only $100 off. They do mention $200 off the twill soft top. I could be reading it wrong. Just in case I’m reading it right, I didn’t want someone to expect 200 and only get the $100 off.https://www.quadratec.com/p/bestop/twill-sunrider-hardtop-20-jeep-wrangler-jl
note if you buy before April 30th there is a rebate:
-$100 for the Black Diamond version
-$200 for the Twill version
I went with the Twill.
That is odd. The rebate form I printed out last week had the Twill listed on the $200. But yeah, now if i go and look at the Bestop website its only the $100. I guess I shall see, mailed mine in yesterday.I went to their site and it appears the Sunrider rebate is only $100 off. They do mention $200 off the twill soft top. I could be reading it wrong. Yea. I just the the eligible part numbers on the $200 rebate and the JT sunrider isn’t on there. It’s only on the $100 rebate form. Pls correct me if I’m wrong though.
If their a good company, they’ll honor what their company rep said on here. That is odd. The rebate form I printed out last week had the Twill listed on the $200. But yeah, now if i go and look at the Bestop website its only the $100. I guess I shall see, mailed mine in yesterday.
Bestop rep even mentioned in a recent post:

I have a Sunrider on my JT and noticed those threaded holes on top of the rail mounts. I took pictures and sent them to Bestop and asked what they were there for. First answer was those are there to mount the rails. Second time I inquired after not being satisfied with that answer they said those holes were for tooling purposes during manufacture. Third try - no answer. So I'm thinking they will have a future purpose along the lines of some sort of shade. They are probably in R&D phase of development. so in the meantime I will order the spiderweb to keep the heat off my gourde.Hey @brancky3 don’t hold your breath for this but I think that the folks from @BestopTeam may have a roller sunshade for their Sunrider by model year 2021. I asked them about it and they said that it would not happen in 2020. And I am not planning on getting rid of my nice new truck that I love anytime soon. If you look at the top of your Sunrider you will see bolt holes left and right, at the rear and at the front of your Sunrider frame. I suspect that these bolt holes are there so a “future” roller sunshade can be mounted, my best guess mind you. And if I am dead wrong then please accept my huge apology in advance. Crossing fingers and not holding my breath for now.
They are for the rolling shade concept that they've said they won't be making available anytime soon.I have a Sunrider on my JT and noticed those threaded holes on top of the rail mounts. Thanks. I had a feeling that was the case and learned more as I read into the post. As soon as they're available I'll be getting one. They are for the rolling shade concept that they've said they won't be making available anytime soon.
I don't quite get it. Either you want the top down or not. Part of the experience of top down is the sun on you. I have lived in south Florida for 33 years, had a convertible for a few years; now looking forward to that experience again when my Gladiator arrives. So why put the top down, then put a cover on the Jeep?Kinda sucks....cause in Florida both are almost a requirement....guess I can forgo the Sunrider....the shade is something I have to have down here.
I don’t have one, but I believe light still comes through since it’s mesh. So your cutting the UV rays down while still getting light from above and fresh air. Melanoma sucks.I don't quite get it. Well, now that you put it that way, I suppose it makes sense. Never had to worry about skin cancer. Yet.... light still comes through since it’s mesh. So you're cutting the UV rays down while still getting light from above and fresh air. Melanoma sucks.
Me neither, but I’m Irish. I’ve gotten sunburnt just walking out on a Florida pier before lol.Well, now that you put it that way, I suppose it makes sense. Never had to worry about skin cancer. Yet.
