Not a bad commercial, light years better than the commercial with Bruce Springsteen. I wasn’t impressed with the Super Bowl commercials this year. My favorite was the aliens stealing the Doritos commercial.

Proud husband here… I drive a Gladiator and my wife drives a Wrangler. Some of her work was included in the ad. The father/daughter military family shown in the ad were from a USO promotion where my wife was on set helping with . She works for USO, not Jeep. She had no idea it was going to be in the ad so it was a nice surprise. I liked the ad even before the proud moment, but was a little disappointed no Gladiator was featured.

Well done. And classy. Quite a few Easter Eggs in both the script and imagery. An overall good combination of messages - patriotism, wisdom, and selling the vehicles. With a bit of humor thrown in too.

As a marketer by profession, I was impressed - nice job Jeep. And the fact that Jeep produced this from concept to final production in mere weeks and kept it secret makes that much more impressive.
Right. I was under the impression there wasn’t going to be a Jeep Super Bowl commercial this year. I too thought it was well done.

It was my favorite Super Bowl commercial:). I am a jeep and Star Wars fan, so it wasn’t surprising, but I thought it was great:)

But the most impressive thing we could see from Jeep is for the leadership to actually enforce quality standards, instead of the 'good enough for profits' standard. They wrap themselves up in flags and historical footage of MBs during wars, but they just can't live the responsibility to replicate the best traits of those times.

A gladiator with a 392 at the end would’ve blown everyone’s minds!!! And would’ve meant Jeep was granting our wishes !!!!
A Recon did make a flying pass.

Not as good at the 2020 commercial…..but much better than most all the other commercials!! Welcome the Jeep Recon…. 🙄

I mean….What was up with those flying mustache commercials?? What’s up with the commercial with the tonques? Can you say….ewww…..😂

Am I just old …or does the younger generation have an odd sense of humor?😳

I am a huge Harrison Ford fan, from Falfa on through his career.

He is a regular guy, a carpenter by trade. Was still a carpenter until the Indiana Jones movies if I remember correctly.
30 years ago he flew into a tiny little airport (that I helped do annuals etc. at) and asked where he could rent a car. We were 20 minutes from civilization, so the one mechanic offered him his clapped out mid '80s Buick. Ford was super grateful and he and his daughter took that to visit whatever college they came to look at. When he came back, he talked airplanes for a while, thanked everyone and left. I know people change but that was in the 90's and he was definitely made by then.
