I have a '21 Willys non LED and I added DV8 LED clone OEM headlights and Diode Dynamics LED fogs. No issues there. I want to add OEM LED fender lights, but have a couple concerns. The lights came with the harness cut, so I plan on making a new one out of the existing pigtail left on the lights and making one out of the stock fender harness. If I install them and need to flash the computer, will that affect the headlights and fogs? I don't want to go through all that work to come up with a bust.

The headlights, fogs and turn signals each operate on separate and individual circuits. In my experience with the Gladiator the turn signal circuit will not impact headlights or fogs. You will need to change the setting, via programmer/dealer, from halogen to LED for the turn signals to operate properly.

You might look to see if the fender harness, for the turn signals/running lights, is available from Mopar. This short section of harness may only be available as part of the turn signal/running light assembly. When I was changing bumpers I bought the bumper fog light harness and it was not cost prohibitive.

You aren't "flashing" anything, you are simply telling it the thing now has LED in that location. It's a setting. "LED turn signal present" or something like that. It's a yes/no thing and has no impact on anything except that specific location.

In short - what Mark said.

I did look into this. I couldn't find a part # for just the harness. There's a waterproof connection that does the 1/4 lock into the back of the light housing and it's molded into the harness. That makes me think it's all one part. Sure would have been nice if the seller of the lights hadn't cut the wires. Oh well. It is what it is now.

I have seen the same thing with fenders for sale, people cutting the harness. So short sighted. All the various harness connectors are available. Sometimes not the easiest to find. Good luck with your project!

That harness is part of the light. My 2020 sport is wired differently from the others.

As seen above spot #1 is one of two circuits and I think they go to different ports on the body control module.
