Tailgate Pinched - Help

Backed into tree with right rear bumper corner pushed in and now tailgate can’t open. Ideas on best way to fix?

looks like the bed is pushed in, causing the tailgate to be pinched.
I would try attaching a come along and pull towards the right 6312382 after pulling the bumper to the rear

Pull the impact zone the OTHER way

 

[Alpine Warthog]

remove bumper. Drill hole in body. Use some allthread and wide washers and nut on the inside and then gently pull on it till the tailgate is free. Don't worry about getting it perfect. Now get a nice aftermarket bumper to cover up the damage.
