I recently purchased and married a Tazer mini to my Gladiator. I programed several changes and lastly I went to make the third brake light flash, and it took several tries to make it work. But finally it took after the sleep cycles and such. The next morning the wife says that my thirds not coming on AT ALL! So I went back in and did it again. All good, until the next day. Nothing! So I went back in and put it back to stock. Sleep cycles and stuff. Still no third brake light at all! Scott at the Tazer place had me plug the Tazer into my computer and sent the program to them. They’re saying that now I have a problem with my truck. I’m no electronic wiz, but I’ve checked and wiggled connections to no luck. I don’t really want to take my truck to a shop, (not to mention expensive!) but what are the odds that this problem arose just when I connected the Tazer?

On first install I messed up a few settings. So I unmarried the Tazer and after making sure everything was back to stock, I remarried the Tazer and slowly added what I wanted.
Everything seems fine this go around.

The third brake light is notorious for failing. I'd consider taking it out of the tail light and testing the plug with a multimeter to see if there's current to the light itself. If there is current, then your LED has failed and the timing is a coincidence.
