Such religious fervor over such a pointless thing, it's hilarious but also sad. Maybe someone can start The Cult of the Fob, and y'all can worship in front of the original one, since by your accounts, it's as tall as a monolith.
I was thinking the same thing. get a grip folks, if you like it, it doesn't make you (or the other person) the spawn of Satan.

The only thing holding me back from this is the flip out real key. I run doors off every chance I get and lock my back seats and console. Keep my sunglasses in the console so I use that key a lot. I do despise the size of this thing for sure.
My key slips about a quarter of the way out at the slightest jiggle, and the alarm button still goes off in my pocket. I found removing the rfid chip and rebuilding the fob very straightforward and easy.
I saved the original parts in case I want to use the old fob again one day.

I wouldn't mind a smaller fob if it lets me easily use the switchblade and keep it all as one unit. I have no buttons or auto functions so all I need is the RFID with the switchblade in the most efficient package; otherwise the stock unit doesn't really both me.
