Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls... What you see here is a genuine "Damn, why didn't Jeep do this?" moment!
After hounding several companies for months on end trying to get a two layer/dual color “Gladiator” badge for the tailgate, I finally got one made! I wanted a red/dark grey color scheme that matched the stock Jeep rubicon lettering
The lettering is made from acrylic, and is laser cut with 3M adhesive for the backing.
I worked out the measurements so that the holes from the original Jeep badge are covered by the new badge.
*** Edit: The purchase link is live! There are 3 options for $98 each: Rubicon, Mojave or Black/Red. Any other custom color combo is $118 due to the time involved.

I believe the overall thickness is roughly 1/8" but here is a better picture of the overall thickness:
the dark grey and red, pretty much 98.7% identical in color to the original rubicon Jeep badge.
Yours looks great! Is the thickness same as the oem? The colors look spot on. I’m waiting for them to do the Jeep tailgate heritage letters in this two tone style. They already have them in single color.the colors compared to the the original Jeep badge, :
Thanks! The Jeep badge is just a bit over the 1/8” mark that the Gladiator badge is. Without putting a tape measure up I never would have thought the keep was thicker. The gladiator has a more of a red edge though. On the Jeep version the red doesn’t protrude out as much. Did you ask him about doing the heritage in the two layer? If not, do so, I think that’s a great idea.Yours looks great! Is the thickness same as the oem? The colors look spot on. Yeah they made it so thin so that they could roll it up. You really need something rigid. Go try the cardboard route. It’s not hard, just takes an hour or two. Believe me, I’m NOT crafty and I figured it out!I too would order if there was a better method to place it on straight. I thought the hauk stencil was not rigid enough. Love the look I'd just never get it straight

TOO LONG!For anyone who has already ordered, how long was it before they shipped?
Besides the trim color option...is there a difference from the hauk offroad version (that comes with mounting stencil)Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls... What you see here is a genuine "Damn, why didn't Jeep do this?" moment!
After hounding several companies for months on end trying to get a two layer/dual color “Gladiator” badge for the tailgate, I finally got one made! I couldn’t be more happy with the end result. I wanted a red/dark grey color scheme that matched the stock Jeep rubicon lettering and think I nailed it. I thought other kits (i.e. Hauk Offroad) were too small, so I wanted mine bigger. We went back and forth for a week working out the proper size for the outer letters (G-R) and all the inside lettering, spacing between the letters, and even several mock up printouts to confirm what variant and placement fit best and looked the most "stock".
The lettering is made from acrylic, and is laser cut with 3M adhesive for the backing. MADE here in the good ol' USA! I did have to make my own stencil kit, but that wasn't hard, just time consuming. I had the shop print out a spacer at the specified size so that each letter had the proper spacing. I lined up the letters on a piece of thick cardboard, taped them down, then used an X-acto knife to cut around them.
For those that don't want vinyl wrap on the tailgate like I did... The cool part is I worked out the measurements so that the holes from the original Jeep badge are covered by the new badge.

Well first off, when you say “besides the trim color option”... you’re sort of disregarding the main difference between the two. The Hauk version is a one layer, one color option (three color choices only). Mine is two layers, with any color combo on those two layers you want. Aside from that, mine is much bigger and more proportionate than the Hauk version.Besides the trim color option...is there a difference from the hauk offroad version (that comes with mounting stencil)
