I have a question. Since I've noticed that only Toyota tailgates seem to be imblazed with the model instead of the make, are you a former Taco or Tundra owner? Why is Gladiator better than Jeep, every other Jeep truck made has had Jeep across the tailgate.

Sorry chap, never had a Toyota in my life. Only jeeps here! But if you have to ask then clearly you just wouldn’t understand!

Yes every Jeep truck had it but it’s much bigger and it’s stamped in the metal. If the did that (like the Ford raptor) I would have left it alone and liked it.

I can tell ya this, if they had done “Jeep” in bigger letters, or Embossed like they did on the Comanche I wouldn’t have messed with it.

That was my original plan, I was looking at vinyl overlay options but kept circling back to how good a true two layer would look. AND a bigger sized one! Glad you jumped on board!

Anyone jump in and let me know if the orange on Mojave is different than Punk’n? Thinking of doing black wrap and then Mojave lettering, but not sure it’ll match right with the Punk’n JT

Wow...I LIKE this!! I'm interested to know if anyone got the red outline for a red JT? I have the red, and I don't know if the red outline would wash out. Maybe a different outline?

Well my Jeep Mojave just became a Gladiator. Letters showed up at 4 and done by 5:15 using a heat gun, some painters tape, a 72” straight edge and a tape measure with a homemade 1/2 inch spacer. My only complaint is the orange is a shade or two lighter than OEM.

Hot damn that looks GOOD!! You should have received a .5” spacer in the kit, did you have it?

Side note, how in the hell did you actually score a personal plate with JEEP on it. That’s good cool!

No spacer with mine. Made one from a piece of hard rubber. Lucky on the Jeep plate. Got it first year they came out with special agriculture plates.

Did everyone go .5” space between letters?

Mine is .5” spacing. I also tested .25” spacing and it looked good, but it was about 3” shorter width wise. It wasn’t needed for the size letters I designed.

Im curious about the same thing. Im also leaning heavily toward wrapping my tailgate black first which would make it a moot point. Im currently in paralysis by analysts mode which is where i spend most of my life.

Just arrived. Quality is good but the color red is not what I expected. It’s not a bright red like on the Jeep badge and hooks. Here’s a couple of pics so others can decide for themselves on whether or not to order.
