Test fitting the box and starting to wire up the electronics. I finally got my ground run from the frame where the spare tire is up into the bed. Hoping to have this ready to hit the road next week sometime.

I added a cigarette lighter socket, and cleaned up the wiring some more and reinstalled all the electronics in my bed. Installed the Dana Spicer 1350 front drive shaft and the @Metalcloak rear sway bar brackets.

Added the Sherpa Sunlight, a Starlink and a Renogy 220w solar panel and got them all wired in.

Started work on what I hope to be a factory looking mount to go over this screen that will hold a 13” iPad Air and conceal a 90 degree angle USB C cable to charge it.

I mainly use the manual controls and not the touch screen controls so for me, it's not going to be much different. Since iPad doesn't have CarPlay, I linked it via bluetooth and tested and I can start songs and stuff with it linked to bluetooth. I'm considering using rare earth magnets around the edges with a bottom lip to hold the iPad in place so it's easy to take with or move if you want to access the Jeep screen. It's still a work / concept in progress. I just want larger maps (Onx and Waze) while I'm driving.
