Thinking about switching from Clayton springs to something different...Anyone running Synergy 4" springs?

It’s crazy everyone’s diff opinions on spring and shock combo’s to how they feel on the road. I am currently running Clayton 2.5in springs on the overland plus kit and Fox 2.0s. And I feel that it’s too soft and floaty for my liking. Been going back and forth bout new shocks. Was going in between falcons/elka/fox 2.5 or something from accutune. Decisions decision. Also contemplating going to 3.5in but then you need shocks, springs, and drive shaft. But I think I rather dump the money into gears, Rcvs, knuckles, and ball joints. Problems of a Jeep owner yah know haha.
I just installed the Clayton 3.5 with the Fox, and it’s as floaty as hell. I can’t stand it. The shocks also introduced some wobble over bumps that I’m trying to fix by lowering tire pressure. I came from the Mopar springs/Fox shocks.

Here is my take on custom suspension (as I did high end Motocross suspension for years)... There are a lot if big companies out there that are good at marketing, but that doesn't mean you get what you need. Factory Connection is a perfect example, you never talk to the actual person doing your suspension, you talk to someone else and they say you need blah blah blah... Then your suspension goes to someone else to be worked on.
If I couldn't do my own suspension, I would Highly recommend using a shop where you get to talk to the person doing the suspension, that way you can get a feel for if he is really interested in getting it right or if he is just a person punching a clock collecting a paycheck. The CrazyCooter guy on here is VERY knowledgeable and definitely cares and is into Jeeps, I personally would go to him if I couldn't do it myself. He is completely right when he says, it isn't as easy as just buying XY&Z off the self. Just my 2 cents as a former suspension turner.

I don’t have NEARLY your experience, but I completely agree. I started with “a complete suspension package”. It was nowhere near complete or correct for my vehicle, until each complement was addressed separately to accomplish the goals I wanted. A lot has to do with my former inexperience in choosing the right parts. But that actually allowed me to learn at a fast rate. Part of the fun for me is finding a problem, and reworking that area to solve it. When my suspension is finished, which it never will be, it’ll be after a second shock replacement. When it’s all said and done, the only thing left from the original package will be the front springs. I’ve come to believe that so-called Frankenstein lifts are the only comprehensive setups. Mine is Frankenstein with ocd mixed in. I don’t regret most of the parts that were installed and removed, as all of them provided valuable learning experiences. Except for the first round of adjustable control arms from JKS. Run as fast as you can from those things. :)

I completely agree, I don't feel any of these lift packages works for me or anyone that is particular about their ride.
I have stuff From Steer Smart, Clayton, Metalcloack, fox, Rockjock and Core...
But dam it gets expensive buy and rebuying parts.. with this Mojave I am trying to get the springs right on the first go around (very hard to do)

Agreed. I have JKS, BDS, steersmarts, teraflex, fox, sumo, rock hard, and Clayton….and that’s just suspension. If I’d continued it would have been a long list.
