I think that is a VERY big screen.

I dont know. I had my gladiator less than 24hrs . took it back because it was leaking something. havnt seen it in 2 days. im not happy about it. thinking of my options

I have a 2024 I bought after finding a dealer an hour from home that was offering a Sport S with a $15,000 discount. At the time I was looking as a 2023, also a Sport S with all the same options, at the same discount, but with a $995 lower MSRP. I chose the 24 with the 12” screen because while driving the 23 the smaller screen was difficult at a glance to see. So far so good with only one return for a steering damper and alignment. The screen has frozen once and I pushed the UCONNECT button, a tech came on and told me how to hold both the volume and tuner buttons down till the screen went black, with the start button on ACC. Then the system came back up and has been fine since. I also maintain a subscription for WiFi and the 911/SOS advanced system. That works fine and helps save my 5G cell plan.

you are talking about the factory screen on the 2024. IM talking about aftermarket on my 2021.

It says that it does NOT support UCONNECT, that would deter me from buying it.

A lot of those Android radio systems are a pig in a poke. I have rarely seen one that was seamlessly integrated that one would consider it near "OEM" in terms of functionality. You give up something with them and then run the risk of the company stop supporting them because they have moved on or disappeared overnight.

I was not suggesting you do that, i was stating that for $749 id purchase a stinger option. While their most expensive is above 1k dollars (the one i want is closer to 2k), this integrates with the vehicle for less than what you posted. As i stated, the screen is not the same design, probably not the size you want. I want a bigger screen, but like you, i cant justify the price at this time. Link to what i think is a cheaper and better alternative to an android device. Just my humble opinion.

if I ever get my gladiator out of the shop id buy the $749 stinger if that is all it costs. I am having to wait till I get it so I can see what the actual state is with the stereo. I had the thing less than 24hrs and I didnt get to really look it over. it has a sub amp already installed. I need to see what else it has and go from there.

the stinger unit I saw was on Sonic Electronix and the install kit was $500 by itself. that wasnt even the unit. maybe that was the wrong unit. lol...
