One thing I've found - response seems better when in 4HA.

If you have JSCAN........... it'll take you through it.

After reading, it seems that is a procedure for a Manual Transmission. I wonder if it also works for the auto or the diesel ?
*my throttle seems good, just being curious and adding the info to the "might be useful" down the road file... lol
It worked with my automatic.

I've owned 3 '23's, two of them have this problem and even cut out briefly driving down the road. It acts like a communication problem between the pedal and throttle body. My dealership says there are no TSB's or new flash files for '23 Gladiators and no one else has mentioned the problem. I tried a throttle controller, but that just amplified it.

I had tried the non-scan-tool method for throttle calibration multiple times over the past months with no results. I took that to mean it was calibrated just fine and calibration wasn't the problem. I calibrated it with a scan tool a few days ago and the off-idle inconsistency problem appears to be fixed. Now I'm thinking the non-scan-tool method no longer works or the procedure has changed in some way or I overlooked or misunderstood some crucial step every time. Anyway, while I am hesitant to declare something "fixed" until I've driven it for a while in various conditions, it appears to be fixed. Thanks.

Very possible things changed - you have a 23 and we know they moved and changed other things even back in 2021 model year so who knows. As long as the "scan tool" method works...
I've not checked out the JSCAN method myself, just that I found out it existed when looking around for info on the throttle controller.
