So what do ya'll think about this tie rod movement? Pay no attention to the Stabilizer movement. I already know about that. I have a new (different design) bracket on the way. I'm referring to the up and down movement of the track bar.

So, tell me how ya'll feel.

Well your track bar isn't moving. So that's good. Its your tie rod that's doing all the moving. That's not good. Not good at all. As far as how does it make me feel? It makes me feel funny. I don't like it.

Yeah, your TRE's are pretty much shot. I hope you aren't driving it like that.

Your feelings are exactly how I feel. There is a slight movement in the track bar, but not enough to create an issue. I had to stare at it for about 30 seconds to see it. And hell, I'm still not sure if it's movement or it's my glasses.🤣

But my tie rod ends are shot! Thanks for your input!👍🏻

Put your figure on the tie rod end and knuckle at the same time. Have someone move the steering wheel back and forth. See if you can feel any movement difference between the two. Repeat on the other side.

Now does your tie rod ends have the anti flop feature? If so, that's finished. Know who makes the ends? If the ends don't have the anti flop feature. You will get up and down movement.

Actually... I found the issue. I changed the bracket on the stabilizer from the through bolt to a separate bracket from RPM. Because the new bracket allowed the stabilizer to be configured a different way, once I installed it, the issue stopped.

I think it's because of the angle of the stabilizer. With the through bolt in the video, it was not completely horizontal, it was a little downward. The RPM bracket has it completely horizontal and it's completely different now.

Ok everyone, I fixed the tierod movement. The pass through bolt design mount for the steering stabilizer had the steering stabilizer at angled position and not parallel with the tie rod. I Used a Stabilizer mount from RPM steering which positioned the stabilizer horizontal and parallel with the tie rod which fixed the issue.

I seriously thought the tie rod ends were done! But.... the clunking noise from the tie rod is gone, it steers better, and It even took out a little of the sway in the steering.
