Never really thought about going there in the winter, but I'll keep that in mind.

Olympic has a ski facility for downhill, back country and cross country. I can get from my front door to a mile above sea level and 100+" of snow in under an hour. Pretty awesome.

I was born and raised in The Columbia River Gorge. Lived here in WA all my life, except when I first got together with my wife. We lived 30 minutes away in Oregon for a year or so.
I'm just under an hour to Mt Hood Meadows, Timberline and Skibowl are just over an hour away.

Night shot from a couple weeks ago, had to go rescue my youngest, he's upper radiator hose sprung a leak. Took longer to add the antifreeze than to change the hose, gotta love a simple TJ engine bay.

I always forget about Hurricane Ridge. The Olympic is a rainforest in my mind, and as such shouldn't ever get snow. Ya, I know, but that's the way I picture it. Love the view from the first pic.
