I bought my tires at Tirebuyer.com they sent them to my house and I had someone put them on for me no problems.

Ran into the same problem when I was ordering 35" Patagonias. Ended up with 315/70r17. Basically the same size. Discount tire will mount them.

I think the 11.5s are the way to go if you can find a tire you like.

Though I've run wide tires on narrower rims and was able to compensate by running lower tire pressure. That helps to even out the otherwise center weighted tire wear in that situation.

It evens out the center but it makes the bead not sit so well. You will never see it really but it's happening to compensate.

You have 9" wide rims which are approved for that tire. His rims are not because they are too narrow. His issue isn't getting them installed in general, it's finding someone willing to do it on an unapproved rim.

Thanks to everyone for all the suggestions and help. Don from Discount Tire reached out via PM and got me all squared away. I ended up ordering some Ridge Grapplers and some 8.5 Method 703 with the 25 offset in bronze. Should have them installed in a week or so.

Nice. Thats what I had to do. I got a set of used, like new, 35x12.5s and I couldn't get a shop to mount them on my stock rubi wheels either. Ended up getting the 17x9s I wanted earlier than expected...

Looking to put 35x12.50xR17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers on OEM Rubicon wheels. I've seen numerous posts here of folks that have done it with great success. Discount Tire won't let me even order them, despite stating on the site that they will put them on a 7.5 wheel. For those of you with this setup, what tire shop did you use? Any tips are appreciated.

I just bought 37s from Discount tire and they have no problem mounting them to my Rubicon stock rims.

Future reference for anyone that bothers to read posts.

When searching for "big" tires do NOT search by vehicle. Search by tire size.

Most of the search engines on tire sites enter the OEM tire sizes and anything outside that range it kicks you out of.
