Went To Harbor Frieght Today For Toolbox Sales.

Loaded the 4 drawer cart into the bed of my Mojave.

Driving home on highway I randomly got a tire pressure check warning on dash and it said right rear was at 3 psi!!! It didn’t feel like I had a tire down though. I pulled over and check tires all were fine and when I got back in vehicle and drove off sensor went away.

weird!! not even 2500 miles on OD yet.

anyone have had this random issue before? Was it due to the weight I put in the truck that maybe was offsetting the weight over top the tires?

I’m curious.

Are they the factory tires and wheels?

There have been some reports of issues with the receiver reading the TPMS sensors with some wheels.

What @Mr._Bill said if you are running aftermarket wheels and sensors.

I also wonder if putting that metal box in your bed may have caused interfered with the TPMS signal?

Unless it comes back again, I would chalk it up to a one off thing.

Have you had temperature swings where you live? The tpms in my Wrangler tires would freak out when it started getting cooler at night.
