Any recommendations for tire pressure? just tossed on some 315/70 17's, and wondering what others are running, street pressure.

I run my 37x13.50 at 26-28 on the street. Seems to have full tread contact that pressure.

I have 315/70s on stock Mojave wheels and was running them at 25. About a month ago I went down to 20 to do some light wheeling and haven’t aired them backup yet. I might not. It rides great on and off road and looks to be wearing perfectly. I have been meaning to chalk them and check them with the temp gun again one of these days.

If you really really really want to be totally accurate and get the best wear, temperature, etc, for street driving get the load/pressure table for that particular tire (all specs for that tire including brand)that you put on (not just the general size) as all tires are different even if they have the same size because of the load rating, etc. Go weigh your JT as regularly loaded with you in it. Use the table and it will tell you the corretc

i run my metric 35s at 31 cold,. i have not chalk tested mine. it's on my long list of things to do, but tbh it's so far down that list i'm pretty much just kidding myself at this point.

Why not lower? I did an ocular patdown on my tires. If you're wondering what that is, I'm saying I did an ocular assessment of the situation, garnered that my psi was not a security risk and I cleared them for passage.
