I have a 2024 Mojave X with factory LT285-70 tires. I bought this Mojave when Jeep was offering screaming deals, like all the features but the tires do not fit my daily driver needs. 90% pavement, balance gravel unimproved roads, need great snow traction here in Idaho. Any suggestions without spending a fortune? BFG TA KO2s have been on a former Jeep and F150. Looking for quieter ride, better mpg, the mud terrain tires need to go…

There's an absolute pissload of LT285/70R17 tires available that are suitable for Gladiators.

Lots of people love the Falken AT's certain trims come with from the factory.

Lots of people love the BFG K/O2's.

Lots of people love the Toyo A/T3's.

The list goes on and on.

I'm in Boise. KO2's in a size 315 (35's) can be had at Discount Tire. They do great in snow. Same weight as the original Mojave tire, but bigger diameter for more ground clearance.

I've had both the BFG KO2s and the Toyo Open Country A/T III. Both are great tires. I will say, I do a lot of driving in dirt/gravel and the KO2s seemed to kick up more rocks than the Toyos. But for highway driving, I haven't really noticed any real differences.

What tires did the Jeep come with??

My 2024 Mojave X came with Falken Wildpeak A/T’s… They’re not Mud Terrains. Sure..they hum a little bit….For being an ‘Aggressive looking’ A/T tire - they’ve been impressive In all conditions.

Most tires (in this size range) are going to be aggressive looking, won’t be as quiet as a car tire, and certainly won’t blow your mind with MPG improvements (if any). If you’re expecting a quiet ride with much better MPG, your better off buying a little Subaru.
