I have the Rugged Ridge Armis Hard Rolling Cover, very happy with it. I would say its 95% waterproof, when running through carwash I occasionally get a few drips inside the corners up by the back window and I could probably fix that issue with a larger rubber gasket but don't care enough. Aside from that I really like the security of the black aluminum underneath, fit/finish of top(really like it matches the soft top material on top), ability to run with it rolled open at any speed(most tri fold's suggest not going over 35mph-ish with it open for full access) and ease of opening/closing. IMO rolling hard covers are the most versatile and give you the best of both worlds. I would spend the money and buy it again if I had the choice today. Good luck with your choice and hope you love your Gladiator!

I bought the Rugged Ridge Armis Folding Cover with Line-X. We really like it, it props up, no leaks, fits well, great security, and the Line-X will not scratch.

2nd on the Armis cover. Great product and very satisfied with it. Especially like the low profile design.

I have been thinking about this one. I am worried about shipping. I hear that they get messed up on shipping. That is probably any of them though.

Mopar hard trifold is a waste. Its strong but not practical. IMO the rollup mopar tonneau is worth its weight in gold.

I like and have the Bak Revolver X4
It's a hard roll cover that when rolled up to the cab doesn't block the rear window.
Rolled up still can fit my dirtbikes.
Keeps 95% of water out.

For anyone considering the Rugged Ridge Armis line of tonneaus, there is a rebate through RR from January 1st until the end of March. Up to $150 depending on your choice of cover. I just bought the soft folding cover, and I’m looking forward to putting it on this weekend.

I have an Access Literider. It’s nice and tight and keeps the water out well. I installed a full length seal at the cab side just for extra insurance. I gave my Jeep a bath the other day and sprayed heavy at multiple angles (nothing directly at the seals) and let the water run wherever it wanted. No leaks except for a little bit at the tailgate, but it didn’t make it more than an inch into the bed. Overall I am very pleased. As an added bonus it was only $375 shipped to my door!

I think a roll up is best because it gives you maximum access to the bed.

As always I recommend the MOPAR roll up. Worth every penny IMO

We are on the verge of ordering a new Gladiator and would like to see if anyone had recommendations. We are leaning toward the hard tri-fold factory cover and would like to hear what others have experienced so far. We are mainly interested in minimal water leakage as we will almost always have gym bags in the bed and would like to avoid pulling out a soaked bag when arriving to work out. We do live in an area where we can get heavy amounts of snow (though this year we've hardly had any).

I have a 2018 RAM 2500 and have an aftermarket Encore which is nice, but tends to leak around the edges, especially when you run it through the car wash. Understandably, there is always risk under high pressure water.

Thanks in advance for any recommendations!

That's what I ended up ordering after researching. I need to be able to roll it up and drive with fishing rods without blocking my view.

I went with the Rough Country tri-fold and have zero complaints. So far heavy rain and car washes have not yielded any leaks.

From my experience the only watch out with vinyl roll up covers is that over time they will shrink and become impossible to close.

Can you open and close the tailgate without opening the cover?
