I have not done my yet but I’m thinking three on each side and two at extreme ends of front, figure might want to strap a large item against front and the center tie downs would rub or dig into whatever I’m tying down. ....Jack

What is there to keep the bolts from pulling out?
There is a nut and washer fixed to the other end that the bolt threads into. I did this on mine too. Not that I expect the tie downs to hold a lot of weight in place, but lighter items, or used as secondary support to the tie down spots that come with the truck, these tie downs will do fine

Perfect, as long as anything you are going to tie down is substantially taller then the anchor points.

It's a Spray-in bedliner, not factory though. I negotiated for the dealer to add it when I purchased the truck, which they did in house. They said normally it would have been $600. Honestly don't know the brand or formula they use, didn't ask back then. They're a high volume dealer of Dodge, Jeep, and Ram, so it seems pretty high quality to me. It's holding up well and not fading at all yet either.
