Your bumper looks like this one to meNew member and have been coming here for several months
before joining. I really liked the newer Jeeps especially when
I seen them lifted etc. Have wanted a Wrangler for a couple years,
more so for the rear space as I am still a bass head and
wanted to put a couple 15's in back.
The story behind the Jeep I purchased could be quite long so
I am going to try and keep it short. Since I like them lifted with
other mods I was looking for something already done as I dont
have the time or space to do it myself. Was getting to the point
of using the Jeep builder and ordering one and having the
dealer put on items for me.
I had seen the Gladiators before but they really didnt do anything
for me and no room for larger subs unless one removed the rear
seats and I wasn't going to do that. Then I started seeing them
lifted and modded and thought damn, those look good.
Driving around town a lot and looking on lots etc I spotted a
Gladiator on a little used car lot and man did it catch my eye.
I pulled in, dealer was closed as it was Sunday. Looked at it
and said to myself that this is for me. After looking it over I
thought no way, has to be around 75K or so with what was
done to it. Turns out there was more invested in it than that. I left and went back there the next week and it was gone. I thought good, now I don't have to think about it.
About 2 months later a guy I work with says here is a Jeep for
you. I look at the pictures and it was the same one back on the
lot. Went back there on a Saturday and talked to the dealer.
Found out he kept it at his house most of the time. Evidently
he bought it new and there is a company who mods Jeeps and
the owner is friends with him. He asked if he could have his Jeep
to do some work on it to showcase what they do. He let them
have it with a max dollar amount to spend.
When he got it back it had a lot more done than he had to spend.
As some people may know when a company makes new
products and you let them have your vehicle, most of the time
you don't have to pay anything, same thing sort of. When he told
me how much he paid and what he was selling it for I told him
he was crazy as it was worth more. That was before I found out
the full story.
I have always had a sports car for cruising in nice weather and
another vehicle for all around weather. After driving it a couple
times and talking deal I ended up doing a trade. I absolutely love
this thing. It drives and rides a lot better that I would have thought.
I have asked him to try and get a build list on it so I know all that
was done. Below is a list of what I think/know has been done.
Sorry for the long post that I intended to be short but actually
could have been a lot longer
2020 Gladiator Rubicon with basically all options you could get.
Had 2400 miles on it. Got it back in September 2021.
Thing just barely fits in the garage.
- 4 1/2" EVO stage 4 overland plus
- 22" Forgiato Terra Offroad wheels
- 37x12.50R22 Nitto Terra Grapplers
- AMP Research PowerStep XL
- Windows tinted all around
- Seats redone with Katzkin red leather
- Interior tops done with black insulation, brand unknown
- Graphene ceramic paint coating
- Underbody done in a coating that allows filth to be washed right off, not sure what it is called.
- Bed was coated in possible rhino lining?
- Soft cover over bed, not sure of brand.
- Winch bumper, unsure of brand, no luck on brand logo search
- 2 rigid lights in front bumper
- Warn winch
- Dash trim recovered
- Tazer JL mini
Thats about all I know at this time, if he gets me a list eventually I
will update.
- Going to eventually do JL stealth box, JL amp, and Audiocontrol DSP, also may do something with the sound bar.
- Oracle reverse lights
- Amp Research bed step as it is a little too high to climb up in
- Need to get a larger spare tire, I don't think they changed it
- Hood props
- Sway bar skid plate pending bumper brand
Few pictures the day after I got it.
It looks a lot better in person than in photos.
I would rather have a little smaller wheels with larger tires
but I still like the way it looks.

But from the angle it’s hard to be sure
