So who here has found terminal velocity in their Gladiator?

Somewhere in the equipment listing for my truck, it says it is rated for 110mph. I've been up to 90, passing traffic, but rarely go above 80. I usually keep it to 3mph above the posted limit on the freeway.

Wife has had it to 98 indicated, probably 100 MPH given the GPS says 92 MPH indicated is 94 MPH ground speed.

Edit to add: One HELL of a lot faster than my YJ!!

If memory serves me correct, 'terminal velocity' is for falling objects... so that's a VERY different question than 'maximum speed.' I'll attempt the latter, but not the former.

Up to 98 so far, when I saw triple digits coming up, I backed off

Cuts fuel at 97. If going down hill you might get a bit faster.

I think I read somewhere that it varies slightly by model/trim. I want to say the Rubi's top speed was slightly lower than those models equipped with more street oriented tires. Sorry, didn't have time to validate but I'm sure a quick google search will yield the answer.

Obviously, none are speed machines.

Looks like the gas runs out of steam. I can vouch that the diesel could easily pull beyond 97; there appears to be a very noticeable fuel cutoff.
